Public Campus Ministries
This week is Welcome Week for our University of Wisconsin students. Last night, at UW-Stevens Point, our ACF OnPoint team held their annual late-night pancake supper as a way to promote their campus ministry club. About 200 students showed up and all were fed (with a little help from Little Caesars and Papa Johns). There was a great spirit of interaction and lots of connections were made ahead of an important school year full of ministry. In other news, we believe we have our Public Campus Missionary positions filled for this school year. Look out for a future report on the details! Updates
YAZA at Madison East
On August 26th, the Madison East Youth Group hosted their first YAZA (Young Adult pizZA). This event brought together around 25 high schoolers and young adults to a night filled with games and pizza. A make-your-own pizza station was set up, the gym was open, and tabletop games were brought in by participants.
Kevin at UW-Stevens Point
One of our Public Campus Missionaries, Kevin Wilkinson, Jr., is helping at UWSP for welcome week. Pray for him (and our other new OnPoint staff) as he gets to know the team and learns the culture of reaching students on a secular campus for Christ.
TEAM G and Your School
Petersen Adventist School is the third to go through the TEAM G Week of Prayer model. If you would like Pastor Zack to come to your school or group for this unique experience, reach out to set it up now!
